Proyecto Enseñas Aprendes

This is a project to let everyone have access to information to educate and inform with Sign Language material, dealing with different topics. The main aim is to let children, youngs and adults know in a funny and nice way, important topics for their integral development. We also give them the chance to meet, approach the experience of Jesus, as well as other relevant issues in society.

The protagonists of the project are Animasoles. Puppets who communicate in sign language. They were made with the aim of telling stories for children with hearing disabilities, educating listeners to believe in diversity, bringing down the walls of communication.

Among them Oreste Nonno, the founder of the Community who believed in and supported our vocation, our friend Sun, named Zechariah, who came to enlighten and guide our steps along the path of peace, Lucy and Tommy, two children with an hearing impairment.

The development of this project involves deaf and hearing, sharing their capacities.

The first story is about Lucy, a girl who, as many others, has the dream to become a singer! A rather unusual dream for a girl who is deaf ... People do not understand it because a deaf girl can not sing!
Because of Nonno Oreste, Lucy finds the strength to believe in herself and realizes her dream.
It is the story of a World without Walls, where there are no limitations to disability with creative possibilities through which disabled people express themselves.
